The weather was great, the food was excellent, including the desserts, and what a turn out. This year's Bash was up in attendance about 20% over last year. The weather was probably a good part of the reason for the increase in attendance.
The Bash was attended by the following clubs:
Appalachian British Car Society of Kingsport, Tennessee (the host club this year, and what an excellent job they did). We thank you very much for all the work, the food and the friendship. Their website is www.britcars.net. Paul Kern is Club President (kern757@aol.com).
Plateau British Car Club located in Crossville, Tennessee, (the newest club in the neighborhood). Their website is www.pbcctn.org . Contact email is events@pbcctn.org. This is a growing club, and there are no officers at this time. We thank you for making the trip and being part of the April British Car Fools Bash.
East Tennessee MG Drivers Club of Morristown Tennessee. Their website is www.etmgdc.org . George Greene is Club President (gag327@yahoo.com).
English Auto Society of Knoxville, Tennessee. Their website is www.englishautosociety.com. Morgan Everett is Club President. John and Barbara Rigby (jandbrigby@bellsouth.net) take care of the newsletter.
Southern British Car Club of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Their website is www.southbritishcarclub.org. Contact for the club is SBCC@wildblue.net. Paul Batovsky is Club President.
Smoky Mountain Austin Healey Club a chapter of the Austin Healey Club of America. Their website is www.smokeymthealeys.org. Denise Denton is Club President (denise@wsdassociates.com).
Blount British Cars, Ltd. of Maryville, Tennessee. Their website is www.blountbritishcars.org. Contact email is blountbritishcars@comcast.net. Melinda Watson is Club President.
Be sure to check out each of the club's web sites. They have a lot of drives and other events going on that maybe your club or individuals in your club would like to be a part of.
Next year's April Fools British Car Bash will be hosted by the Southern British Car Club of Chattanooga, Tennessee. They will be looking at locations that will be centrally located so that all the area clubs can attend without driving too long. The goal is to keep it a day event. As soon as that location is determined, emails will be going out. Therefore, please note what events you would like to share (make up advertising flyers) with the other clubs, and figure out what covered dish you would like to bring, and mark your calendar for the first Saturday closest to April Fools Day
Again, We would like to thank the Appalachian British Car Society of Kingsport, Tennessee for hosting the event. An excellent job.
